Featured Attraction – The Magic House
Spring is here, and the Magic House is ready for visitors! A SLAA member for many years, families can turn their staycations into a playcation at the Magic House!
The Magic House is an award-winning children’s museum that features hundreds of interactive exhibits for kids of all ages! Want to climb a giant beanstalk? Done. Want to touch an electro-statically charged ball and make your hair stand on end? Yep. You can do that, too! If you’re more about creativity, then the Art Studio and Make-It Workshop are more in your wheelhouse! Painting, sketching, chalk, and more await your artistic talent. Not into paper and pencils? Try out the Sketch Town, where you can design your own virtual town, including cars, buses, houses, and more! Want to try to make a robot? You can!
Are you more outdoorsy? The Magic House Play Garden is perfect for your family. It’s a great spot to take in the spring weather, and starting in May, you can visit Sandcastle Beach, and play in the sand! (Yes! The Sand! In St. Louis!) Other fun events coming up include Forts and Clubhouses, and Kenya’s Kids, two amazing exhibits coming to the Magic House this summer!
