Fall is finally here and it’s my favorite season. The weather cools off, the leaves change, and everything seems to have that warm, cozy glow about it. Fall in St. Louis is always a great time with so many festivals and fun events to enjoy.
The September SLAA Meeting at the National Great Rivers Museum in Alton, IL was so much fun and provided a great opportunity to visit our Illinois friends in a truly amazing location. Special thanks to the museum and our friends at the Great Rivers & Routes Tourism Bureau for putting on such a great event. I’d also like to extend a heartfelt thanks to our speakers who provided exceptional information and great tips and tactics in working with the media. Our thanks go out to: Nancy Milton with Insight Marketing, Stephanie Tate with the Great Rivers & Routes Tourism Bureau, Mary Hediger with Big Bang Marketing, and Heather Woodard with H&L Partners.
Mark your calendars for our Annual Silent Auction taking place on Wednesday, November 14th, at the Saint Louis Science Center. If you haven’t already send your donation in, here’s the form. We are happy to pick up your donation! Items donated to the auction help fund the Carole Moody Scholarship. This year’s auction is one that you don’t want to miss! Be sure to invite friends, family and co-workers to get started on your holiday shopping.
