Legends & Lanterns, a “spirited” Journey through Halloween history will now be taking place three weekends in October. Join us along Historic Main Street October 12-13, 19-20, and 25-27 where you’ll have the opportunity to meet several paranormal poltergeists from parts unknown. These notorious and infamous witches, villains, and spirits will unleash the magic of their enchanted lanterns to travel from regions beyond to bring you the eeriest entertainment imaginable. Visitors will be able to vote for their favorite scarecrow, take a guided hayride, and collect stickers for the passports from our Ghostly Guests.

During Saint Charles Christmas Traditions, beginning November 29th through December 24th, visitors will interact with some of the famous figures in holiday history, folklore, and literature. Each of the Santas from around the world and the Legends of Christmas are eager to share their stories with you in the form of a trading card. You’ll enjoy hearing the sounds of the season from the various caroling groups. One weekends, line Main Street for the Santa Parade and sit on the lap of the big man himself. Historic Main Street will be adorned with red bows, live greenery, and white lights, and of course offer visitors plenty of shopping and dining opportunities. Discover the Magic!

Historic Missouri Wine Country is the perfect place to unwind and relax and this is one of the best times to visit this treasured destination. You’ll not only find award-winning wines, but picturesque surroundings on your scenic drive along Highway 94. Feel the wind in your hair as you bike the Katy Trail and then explore the famous frontiersman, Daniel Boone, at his home in Defiance.

Climb So iLL at the Steel Shop is scheduled to open soon in downtown St. Charles. This modern indoor climbing gym in a historic building offers lots of training and recreational options.
