For 45 seasons, Saint Charles Christmas Traditions has helped create cherished holiday experiences for the young and young at heart. With a unique blend of history, storytelling, and fairy tale whimsy, visitors have been transported back in time to an era of yuletide nostalgia and fantasy. Meet some of the most iconic figures of history, literature, and folklore through December 24th. These Legends of Christmas have traveled from their fanciful realms in order to celebrate with you.

Fete de Glace is the perfect ice carving competition for the entire family taking place January 25th. Ice carvers fill two blocks of North Main and transform a single block of ice weighing 260 pounds into wondrous sparkling creations.

The Greater Saint Charles Convention & Visitors Bureau was recognized during the Governor’s Conference on Tourism held in Columbia this October. Awards were given recognizing individuals and organizations for outstanding work to attract visitors to the Show-Me State. Our very own Legends & Lanterns, a “spirited” journey through Halloween History received the Pathfinder Award. The Hospitality Award went to Greg Maxon, Group Travel Sales Manager/Operations Manager, for his dedication to tourism.
