It’s summer time in St. Louis! The warm weather is the perfect time to check out all of the pools and parks available to us, the festivals we offer throughout the summer, and the air conditioned bars and restaurant for when we need to cool off. I hope everyone has been able to enjoy the summer and take in a Cardinals game, or two.
We look forward to having everyone join us at the Missouri History Museum for our September Round Table meeting. This is an event you don’t want to miss! We will be discussing a variety of topics and sharing best practices with each other as a group. Come prepared to share your input and opinions, and learn from your fellow members.
I want to thank everyone for attending the July meeting held at Fast Lane in St. Charles. The scavenger hunt through the campus gave us the perfect opportunity to network and meet new people. I want to give a huge thank you to our programs committee for creating a new idea for our networking meeting. We were also able to celebrate our Carole Moody Scholarship winner and present Kristen Woods with a $1,500 scholarship for her continued hospitality education.
A special thank you to Valenti’s for Catering our July meeting and Sarah Bonderer with Fast Lane for hosting us. P.S. If you didn’t know, Fast Lane is dog friendly 🙂
