Happy April! March and April are very busy months in the attractions world, and we hope all the students coming to visit the Lou enjoy their time with us! Thank you for attending our March Meeting, hosted at Hollywood Casino. I hope you enjoyed learning some networking and table etiquette. Special thanks to Anne Hensley for her wonderful presentation! I’ve heard from some members the folding of the napkin in the lap was a hot topic of debate the afternoon after the meeting! As Anne said, the ideas she presented are not rules, but courtesies, that should be adhered to. Anne does mean what she said at the meeting, please contact her if you have questions; she is a wealth of knowledge. I want to give a special reminder of the Member Renewal Mailings. Due to circumstances beyond our control, these went out a bit late this year, and you should have received this around March 10th. Please review, sign, and get your renewals sent it. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to myself, Renee Eichelberger, or Kurt Schumer. We have plans for another Happy Hour – place is TBA, but please plan on a Happy Hour for April 15th. Not only can we network and celebrate SLAA, but we can celebrate tax day! Watch your emails for an invite. The May Meeting is May 17th at Gateway Motorsports Park. Kitty Ratcliffe will be presenting an update on St. Louis Tourism, which is perfect, as the meeting is the week after National Tourism Week. Thank you for your time and devotion to this association.
